Hyundai Motor Group's vehicles won four awards, including 'Car of the Year' at the UK . The Kia 'EV3', Hyundai 'Ioniq 5', and 'Santa Fe' received high praise.

The UK’s largest vehicle transaction platform, AutoTrader, hosted the automotive awards ceremony known as the '2025 Drivers' Choice Awards', which recognized Hyundai Motor Group's vehicles in four institutional sectors on the 20th.

The Kia EV3 was finally selected as 'Car of the Year 2025'. Competing models included the 'BMW iX3' and 'Renault Scenic E-Tech'. The EV3 also won 'Best Mainstream Electric Car', earning high product recognition from UK consumers.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Santa Fe were awarded 'Best Car for City Drivers' and 'Best 7-Seater', respectively.

Erin Baker, editor of AutoTrader, noted that "the Kia EV3 has premium-level product quality despite being one of the most reasonably priced electric vehicles currently on the market," adding, "The smooth driving performance and excellent visibility are key features of the Ioniq 5, while the Santa Fe showcases true cost-effectiveness with ample space, practicality, and style."

The Drivers' Choice Awards are determined based on the actual opinions of British car owners in the selection process, making this award even more special. AutoTrader conducted an online survey among over 220,000 car owners in the UK to gather their opinions on their vehicles and selected award-winning vehicles across a total of 25 institutional sectors concerning global automotive brands and models.

A customer of the EV3 in the UK shared their view, stating, "The EV3 stood out significantly among competing models in the same price range as our family's first electric vehicle," and added, "Its unique, futuristic design and outstanding convenience features make driving comfortable and easy."

The customer of the Ioniq 5 also highly praised, saying, "It excels in every aspect, from the enjoyment of driving to excellent power performance, comfortable ride, and fantastic design." A customer of the Santa Fe expressed satisfaction, stating, "Having owned several premium SUV models over the past few years, the Santa Fe offers all the features provided by premium brands at a much lower price."

A representative of Hyundai Motor Group said, "The selection of the Kia EV3 as the UK's and the world's Car of the Year, along with the results of the AutoTrader 2025 Car of the Year awards chosen by actual UK consumers, is very encouraging," and added, "We are also very pleased that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Santa Fe have been chosen as the best cars by UK customers."
