The Korea University Platform SME Research Center and the Digital Small Business Alliance announced on the 19th that they held the 'Digital Business Night Chat Salon' networking event on the 18th.
The Digital Business Alliance, established in April, is a community-based alliance for the growth and coexistence of digital small business owners. Digital small business owners (D-SME, Digital-Small and Medium Enterprise) refer to business operators who conduct business activities based on digital platforms, and currently, 100 brands are participating.
At this networking event, each division head was appointed, and a small meeting system was introduced to establish a continuous network foundation. The divisions are expected to be expanded in the future according to the needs of digital small business owners and changes in the market environment.
In the first part of the event, under the theme of 'Sharing commercialization cases using government projects and private companies with small enterprises', Kim Seong-rae, the CEO of Seonmi Han-gwa, was the speaker. CEO Kim shared growth cases, from the process of collaborating with large companies based on traditional Korean confectionery products, plans for entering overseas markets, to being selected as the official confectionery for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit dinner held in Jeju.
In the second part, participants organized their business challenges and freely shared cooperation ideas based on these. Additionally, in-depth networking was conducted in four divisions: fashion, food, global, and education/marketing.
