The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 18th that they successfully concluded the '2025 Seoul International Food Industry Fair (Seoul Food 2025)' held from the 10th to the 13th at the KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 and 2 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

A total of 45,332 visitors attended the event. Buyers from 275 companies in 47 countries were invited to hold a total of 3,878 consultations with domestic food companies. The consultation scale reached $530 million (approximately 724.8 billion won), more than double last year's figure of $240 million.

The Seoul Food 2025 provided participants, whose goal was to expand domestic and international distribution channels, with business exchanges and networking opportunities that were actually helpful, as well as export consultations. A total of 30 contracts were signed on-site, recording a contract amount of $12.33 million (approximately 16.8 billion won).

Various programs were also conducted to activate the business of participating corporations and increase on-site sales revenue. Events such as the Seoul Food Awards 2025, the 9th Global Food Trends & Tech Conference, and the Seoul Food Live Commerce Sales Festival were held.

Kang Kyung-sung, president of KOTRA, said, "Seoul Food is a marketing platform aimed at achieving $20 billion in domestic food exports," and noted, "I will ensure it continues to grow to become the best export platform."
