The Ulsan branch of the Korean Red Cross plans to use the donated funds for emergency aid to crisis households, summer kimchi sharing, safety education for children and teenagers, senior citizen gatherings in Ulju County, and dementia prevention kit support projects.

About 100 employees from Korea Zinc's Onsan smelter and Red Cross volunteers also carried out the 'summer kimchi sharing' volunteer activity. The volunteers made 8,300 kilograms of kimchi and delivered 10 kilograms each to 830 vulnerable households.

Korea Zinc is engaged in various social contribution activities, including housing improvement projects for vulnerable groups in Ulju County and plogging (jogging while picking up trash) events for local environmental protection.
