Lotus Cars Korea announced on the 16th that it has begun selling 'official test drive cars,' expanding consumer choice before a lineup overhaul while accelerating the brand's growth.
These products are cars that have undergone a thorough inspection process at official service centers. Lotus Cars Korea's official service center is equipped with advanced facilities and equipment imported from the British headquarters, and staff who have obtained repair and diagnostic qualifications through headquarters training, as well as High Voltage Technicians (HVT).
The test drive cars for sale are equipped with special options that will not be available after the imminent model year change, which is set to be officially announced. This sale is being conducted in preparation for the upcoming full lineup overhaul, and it includes the 'Emira First Edition,' which was a full-option specification, as well as the luxury and cutting-edge features of the Hyper SUV/GT Eletre and Emeya 'S' and 'R' lineups.
The test drive cars for sale can be viewed at the Lotus flagship showroom where new cars are sold. The first floor will display the new Lotus cars as usual, while the official test drive cars will be available for physical inspection and purchase on the second floor of the showroom. Just like when purchasing new cars, both cash and financing options are available, and all products have passed Lotus Cars Korea's official quality inspection, ensuring reliability.
In addition to this official test drive car sale, Lotus Cars Korea has been implementing various strategies to raise awareness of Lotus in Korea. A representative example is the 'Eletre Care Program' aimed at ensuring that consumers can safely drive electric vehicles during the winter.
Moreover, recently, it made headlines by implementing the 'Electric vehicle new car exchange program,' the first of its kind for imported cars. The groundbreaking 'Electric vehicle new car exchange program' from Lotus Cars Korea generates significant interest as it promises immediate replacement with an identical new car if a fire suddenly occurs while the Lotus electric vehicle is parked or charging.
A representative from Lotus Cars Korea said, "To repay the interest and support shown by domestic consumers towards Lotus, we prepared the 'official test drive car' sale," adding, "We expect enthusiastic responses from consumers who have been hesitant to purchase, as we offer Lotus vehicles at reasonable prices that are as good as new."
Lotus Cars Korea is drawing attention as it announces a significant overhaul of its entire model lineup in the second half of this year. The mid-engine sports car Emira will launch the 'Emira V6 SE,' succeeding the previous Emira V6 MT First Edition. It will be possible to create a more personalized vehicle through 15 exterior colors and 7 interior themes, which will be offered as paid options.
The Eletre and Emeya trims, which are at the forefront of the brand's electrification direction, will be divided into '600' and '900,' showcasing the output of the respective models on a macro level, and will consist of a total of 5 subdivided trims: '600,' '600 GT SE,' '600 Sports SE,' and '900 Sports,' '900 Sports Carbon,' allowing for vehicles tailored to individual needs.
