Hyundai Motor unveiled a teaser image of the high-performance electric vehicle 'Ioniq 6 N' on the 12th, hinting at the arrival of a high-performance sedan electric vehicle that will present a new paradigm.
The teaser image shows that the Ioniq 6 N is highlighted with its large wing spoiler and widened fenders and body. This emphasizes a low and wide stance suitable for a high-performance sedan, encapsulating Hyundai N's high-performance know-how with features that highlight aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic performance.
Developed based on Hyundai N's three core performance philosophies—Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car—the Ioniq 6 N is expected to deliver a lively cornering performance and excellent limit driving durability while providing a high-performance driving feel that transcends everyday experiences.
Park Jun-woo, the executive director of Hyundai Motor's N management division, said, 'The Ioniq 6 N, reflecting the preferences of high-performance customers to the fullest, is expected to provide a different dimension of driving pleasure to customers,' and added, 'The newly revamped Ioniq 6 N, incorporating all the technologies of Hyundai N, will redefine driving enjoyment as a high-performance electric sedan.'
The Ioniq 6 N will be unveiled for the first time at the Goodwood Festival in the UK in July, aiming to present a new paradigm in the global high-performance car market.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor has emerged as a new powerhouse in the global high-performance electrification market by launching the '23 first high-performance electric vehicle Ioniq 5 N, breaking numerous records including winning the 'World Performance Car' category at the '2024 World Car Awards,' the '2024 Korean Car of the Year,' and the '2025 Chinese High-Performance Car of the Year,' based on overwhelming driving performance that surpasses limits.
