Recently, two low-cost carriers (LCCs) in Korea experienced consecutive sexual harassment incidents. Coincidentally, both incidents involved male flight attendants being caught secretly filming their female colleagues during flights.

On the 12th (local time), the Hong Kong South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported that a male flight attendant in his 30s, identified as A, was sentenced to four weeks in prison by a Singapore court for illegal filming.

A, a cabin manager for T’way Air, is accused of secretly installing a camera in the hotel bathroom where he was staying with fellow crew members upon arriving in Singapore on April 27. The day after the crime, A returned to Korea and was arrested by the police after entering Singapore again on the 16th of last month. A company official said, "A is currently no longer employed."

The previous day at Incheon International Airport, a male flight attendant in his 50s, identified as B, was caught by police for illegally filming a female colleague. Responding to a report from a witness at the scene, the police immediately dispatched and questioned B in a voluntary attendance manner. It is also reported that B expressed his intention to resign from the company.
