The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on the 12th that it has obtained the 'Fair Hiring Excellence Institution Certification' at the '2025 First Half Fair Hiring Excellence Institution Certification Award Ceremony' held at the FKI Tower Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul.
The Fair Hiring Excellence Institution Certification system is a program in which the Korea Management Certification Institute (KMR) grants certification to public institutions and corporations that implement fair hiring based on job competencies. The evaluation items consist of three institutional sectors: ▲ hiring system ▲ hiring operation ▲ hiring performance. A total of 59 detailed items are evaluated.
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation received the 'Fair Hiring Excellence Institution' certification for the first time among institutions in June last year, and during the renewal evaluation this year, it scored over 900 points out of a total of 1,000 across three institutional sectors. The organization was highly evaluated for changing its hiring process based on applicant satisfaction surveys at each stage of hiring and strengthening empathy-centered hiring.
As a result, it achieved the highest score in the new hire satisfaction category and is the only fund management type quasi-government institution to obtain the 2025 Fair Hiring Excellence Institution certification.
Since 2015, the corporation has introduced a job competency-based hiring system based on the National Competency Standards (NCS) and implemented 'blind' hiring in 2018 to enhance fairness and transparency. Recently, it has advanced its hiring process to meet the high expectations of job seekers regarding fair hiring.
Chun Chang-ho, a director of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, said, 'Obtaining the Fair Hiring Excellence Institution certification for two consecutive years is the result of our efforts to actively practice transparent and job competency-centered fair hiring.'
