Jaguar Land Rover Korea (JLR Korea) has celebrated the third year of its lifestyle program "Destination Defender" for Defender owners.

"Destination Defender" is an event organized by JLR Korea to share the brand's spirit with customers and build connections beyond simple product experiences. It aims to convey the unique sense of freedom and premium outdoor lifestyle associated with the Defender.

This year's event took place over three days from May 23 at a camping site in Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province. The first event was held in March last year in the mountainous region of Inje, Gangwon Province, followed by the second event at Yangyang Beach in Gangwon Province in September of the same year.

A total of 110 teams and over 400 customers participated in this event. They experienced the Defender's off-road performance and advanced technology while driving through various terrains, including hills, gravel paths, water routes, and muddy roads.

The Defender is equipped with various off-road specialized features, including a fully automatic Terrain Response system, ClearSight Ground View, and Wade Sensing.

A performance experience program was also prepared to commemorate the official domestic launch of the all-new Defender OCTA, the most powerful model in Defender history. The all-new Defender OCTA boasts a maximum output of 635 horsepower and a maximum torque of 76.5 kg∙m, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.0 seconds.

In addition to experiencing the vehicle's performance, customers enjoyed side programs such as rope climbing and cognac tasting. At night, a live cooking show presented by Chef Yoon Nam-no, known from the Netflix survival program "Culinary Class Wars," as well as a banquet, a dynamic duo performance, and a live show by BMK were held.

Robin Culgan, the representative of JLR Korea, noted, "I am pleased to share the value of the Defender with more customers every year," and added, "It is particularly meaningful that the third edition of Destination Defender has been successfully concluded with great support alongside the official launch of the all-new Defender OCTA in Korea."
