Bentley Motors recently unveiled the most powerful luxury SUV in its brand history, "The New Bentayga Speed."
The New Bentayga Speed is the top-performance model in the Bentayga lineup, inspired by Bentley Motorsport heritage. It features the next-generation 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, surpassing the dynamic driving performance of its predecessor, which was equipped with a W12 engine. The New Bentayga Speed introduces active drift driving and launch control features, setting a new standard for luxury SUV performance.
The New Bentayga Speed is powered by a new 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, delivering the most powerful performance among Bentley's production V8 engines. It boasts a maximum output of 650 horsepower (PS) and a maximum torque of 86.7 kg.m, particularly demonstrating its hallmark effortless acceleration within the broad practical range of 2,250 to 4,500 rpm.
The New Bentayga Speed completes the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.4 seconds. This is a significant improvement over the previous model equipped with a W12 engine (3.9 seconds) and the existing Bentayga V8 S model (4.4 seconds). Its top speed also achieves the highest ever for a Bentley SUV at 310 km/h.
The new engine is not only more powerful but also possesses a more attractive sound. The New Bentayga Speed comes standard with a sports exhaust system that delivers a rich and powerful engine sound to the driver. The sports exhaust system features two oval muffler tips for an even sportier appearance.
The New Bentayga Speed includes three standard driving modes: "Comfort" for maximizing luxury SUV comfort, "Bentley" suitable for Bentley's unique dynamic grand touring, and "Sport" for extreme dynamic driving. Notably, the sport mode of The New Bentayga Speed has a wider range of setting variations than before, maximizing the potential of the high-performance SUV.
The New Bentayga Speed features 15% stronger damping resistance when in sport mode. Additionally, the sport mode allows for maximum performance of the V8 engine during cornering through brake-based torque vectoring.
The New Bentayga Speed can activate the dynamic ESC function in sport mode depending on options. Activating this function eases the intervention of the stability control system, allowing for thrilling drifts or oversteering through power slides, according to the driver's intent. The brake-based torque vectoring aids sharper corner entry and quicker corner exit, enabling bolder driving. The ESC dynamic program also introduces launch control functionality for the first time in the Bentayga lineup.
The New Bentayga Speed features electronically controlled all-wheel steering, which steers the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front wheels at low and everyday driving speeds, achieving agile directional changes and a small turning radius. At high speeds, the front and rear wheels steer in the same direction, enhancing driving stability.

The New Bentayga Speed offers a first-ever optional 23-inch wheel in Bentley's history. The calipers enclosing the large brake discs provide a choice of seven different colors as standard. It comes standard with a speed-specific driver information display, and "Speed" lettering is added to the front passenger area, tread plates, and the tops of the seats.
