Park Chi-hyung, former head of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, was appointed as the new executive vice president of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association on the 9th.
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced that Park will serve a three-year term starting from the 9th after the board of directors approved his appointment on the 28th of last month. During the same period, Park will also hold the position of director at the Comprehensive Support Center for Women Entrepreneurs.
Park has worked for 17 years at the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Startups, serving as a spokesperson, head of the General Affairs Division, and secretary. Recently, he also served as the head of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, working to strengthen cooperation between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises.
Park said, "I will leverage my experience in small and medium-sized enterprise and small business policy and industrial development to strengthen the growth of women-owned businesses and enhance the policy driving force of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association."
