The Swedish high-performance premium electric vehicle brand Polestar's electric SUV 'Polestar 4' was selected as 'Innovation Electric Vehicle by Jury Selection' at the 'EV Awards 2025', the highest authoritative electric vehicle awards in Korea, held on the 4th at COEX.

Now in its 4th year, the 'EV Awards 2025' is the country's only electric vehicle specialized award held at Korea's representative eco-friendly car exhibition ‘EV TREND KOREA’, selecting vehicles that have led the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem each year since its first hosting in 2022.

This award was conducted for electric vehicle and charger models released between February 2024 and March 2025, and the 'Innovation Electric Vehicle by Jury Selection' awarded to Polestar 4 was selected as a result of a thorough evaluation focusing on technological capability and innovation through 100% expert judging.

The judging panel noted, "Polestar 4 actively utilizes eco-friendly recycled materials to present sustainable solutions, and its emphasis on driver safety is impressive. This model reflects ideal characteristics that future electric vehicles should aspire to, such as design innovation, sustainable material usage, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Furthermore, its outstanding innovation has been realized with universally appealing design and performance, and it received high marks owing to positive consumer feedback."

Polestar 4 is a model that combines the sensibilities of a coupe SUV with sedan-level performance, featuring a groundbreaking design that eliminates the rear window. Additionally, it boasts a generous maximum driving range of 511 km (based on single motor), powerful performance of 544 horsepower (based on dual motor), ample passenger space based on a 2,999 mm wheelbase, an integrated T-map infotainment system, an advanced driving assistance and safety system (ADAS) utilizing 11 cameras, 1 radar, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, and price competitiveness starting at 66.9 million won (including VAT, excluding subsidies).

Ham Jong-seong, the CEO of Polestar Korea, said, "I am pleased to receive the Innovation Electric Vehicle Award by Jury Selection, following the car of the year and design of the year awards in the first half of this year, as well as the Brand Customer Loyalty Award for three consecutive years. With this award, we plan to further inform more customers about the brand's technological innovations and eco-friendly vision and strengthen our position in the domestic electric vehicle market."

Meanwhile, the five-door fastback Polestar 2 also won the 'Korea Electric Sedan of the Year' at the 'EV Awards 2022'.
