Domestic automakers launched promotional events in June.

According to the industry on the 2nd, Hyundai Motor is selling vehicles through Hyundai Certified Used Cars and is offering a special discount of 2 million won to customers purchasing new electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles from Hyundai. The discounted new models include the Ioniq 9, Ioniq 5, Ioniq 5 N, Ioniq 6, Nexo, and Kona EV.

It also provides a discount benefit of 500,000 won when purchasing a combustion engine vehicle after selling vehicles through certified used cars, 1 million won for purchasing a commercial electric vehicle, and 2 million won for buying a Genesis (including electric vehicles). Hyundai explained that if the vehicle sold as certified used is within 10 years from the first registration date and has a mileage of less than 150,000 km, the benefits apply even to vehicles of other brands.

Hyundai Motor will select a total of 560 customers who visit the showrooms and participate in the events to offer a 3-night, 4-day test drive voucher. The target vehicles are the all-new Palisade, Ioniq 9, Santa Fe, and GV80. In addition, a special promotion to reduce purchasing burdens called 'H-Super Save' will continue. Discounts up to 5 million won are available for Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, while up to 2 million won can be received for Grandeur and Santa Fe.

Kia will hold the 'Inspiring Story With Kia' event. This event is a memory contest with Kia, open to anyone who owns a Kia vehicle. Participants can submit happy moments shared with Kia through photos and stories. The application deadline is by the 30th, and customers will be selected through a lottery for various programs including ▲HMG Camping Experience ▲New Vehicle Test Drives ▲Vehicle Care for owned vehicles.

GM Korea offers a combo financing program that combines installment and cash support for customers purchasing the Chevrolet Trax crossover and Trailblazer, along with cash to support fuel expenses. Cash support is provided to customers who own vehicles that are more than 10 years old through the old vehicle support program, to those who own specific Chevrolet models through the Chevrolet Owner program, and to those who own specific small vehicles from other brands through the small car owner program.

Renault Korea noted that customers could select one of two benefits during June when purchasing any model except the Master, which includes providing options, accessories, or extended warranty worth 500,000 to 600,000 won, or coupons for three engine oil exchanges.
