Kia will participate in the 'EV Trend Korea 2025' and unveil its vision for future mobility. The 8th edition of EV Trend Korea is the only electric vehicle expo in Seoul, organized by the Ministry of Environment to expand the private distribution of electric vehicles and form a new electric vehicle culture.

The 'EV Trend Korea 2025,' where Kia's innovative electrification lineup and PBV solutions can be experienced directly, will be held from June 3 to 5 at the COEX A Hall in Seoul.

Kia will showcase various customized mobility experiences centered around the PV5 Passenger, PV5 Spielraum Studio, and EV4, providing innovative experiences for customers' daily lives and businesses.

The PV5 Passenger, exhibited by Kia at this event, is the first vehicle born from Kia's PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) business strategy. The PV5, designed for versatile use in mobility services, logistics, and recreational activities, incorporates purpose-built vehicle structure and advanced technology.

In particular, the PV5 Passenger has secured a spacious interior space that is best in class through its dedicated platform. It also offers a unique mobility experience by first applying a PBV-exclusive infotainment system and Kia AddGear, which allows customers to attach desired items directly. Users can utilize this to provide a wide range of services from general passenger transportation, such as taxis, to customized premium passenger transport.

The PV5 Spielraum Studio, developed in collaboration with LG Electronics, is a concept car designed as a mobile office that incorporates PBV customized space solutions.

Equipped with AI appliances from LG Electronics, such as a styler, smart mirror, and coffee machine, it provides an optimal mobile workspace for the growing number of freelancers and remote workers. 'Spielraum' means 'play space' in German and refers to the innovative mobility space solution that integrates tailored modular appliances from LG Electronics into the Kia PV5.

The compact electric sedan 'EV4,' launched in March, presents the direction of next-generation electric sedans through its sophisticated and dynamic design, boasting excellent performance with a range of 533 km on a single charge.

Kia has prepared three distinct exhibition spaces for this event.

In the 'Tailor your EV' space, visitors can check out Kia's EV technology and configure their own EV. Through the 'Choose your EV' content, they can freely select their desired EV and interior/exterior colors to create a customized EV, as well as experience various features, including KBO display themes, premium streaming, arcade games, and lighting patterns via the Kia Connect Store content. This space will also exhibit awards received by Kia electric vehicles, recognized globally for their technology.

In the 'Tailor your PV5' space, visitors can see various applications of the PV5. A real PV5 Passenger vehicle with a steel gray exterior will be on display. Main LED screens installed outside will showcase collaboration films with Playmobil, PV5 persona films, and introduction videos of E-GMP.S.

In the 'Tailor your Business' space, visitors can experience the various business applicability and scalability of the PV5. The PV5 Spielraum Studio concept car will present a future business model utilizing mobile office vehicles.

Through the PV5 In Your Business content, various business models using the PV5 will be introduced, and the PV5 digital showroom will display real usage images of the PV5 in artwork format. Additionally, the Kia AddGear exhibition will showcase a platform where customers can install various modular items in the PV5 interior according to their preferences.

Kia will set up a customer consultation space in the exhibition hall and conduct EV4 test drive events. Test drives can be applied for on-site at the Kia exhibition hall, and prizes will be given to selected applicants through a lottery.
