Home & Shopping announced on the 2nd that it will introduce generative artificial intelligence (AI) to promote small and medium-sized enterprise products.

The goal is to create virtual images that match the product concept using AI and apply these to the broadcast screen to convey the product's appeal to viewers.

As a result, small and medium-sized enterprises that struggled due to a lack of filming infrastructure can now benefit from high-quality videos and various productions, helping to enhance brand recognition and expand sales channels.

Home & Shopping plans to increase viewer engagement by applying AI-generated images to various viewing elements, such as broadcast titles and subtitles. Additionally, it aims to further expand the use of AI-generated content in the future and strengthen the copyright and licensing management system to establish a stable operational framework.

A Home & Shopping official noted, 'The innovation of content using AI technology is an important step toward realizing value in coexistence with small and medium-sized enterprises, going beyond mere efficiency improvements,' adding, 'We will actively support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises based on digital technology in the future.'
