An opportunity to compare and test drive the latest six electric vehicles from both domestic and international manufacturers will open up.

From June 3 to 5, the 'EV Trend Korea 2025' exhibition, held at COEX in Seoul, will prepare an 'EV Ride 2025' where attendees can test drive six latest electric vehicles, including Kia, KGM, BYD, Cadillac, Volvo, and Jeep.

A diverse range of vehicle types, such as sedans, SUVs, and pickups, will be gathered in one place to allow participants to experience and compare brand-specific key competencies, such as driving performance, interior user experience (UX), and eco-friendly technologies.

Kia offers the electrified sedan 'EV4,' which boasts a long driving range of 533 km and a refined design. The EV4 provides outstanding aerodynamic performance along with an innovative UX, featuring a display environment that allows watching Netflix and other over-the-top (OTT) content, offering a unique experience especially for the MZ generation.

KGM presents a new genre of electric pickup called 'Musso EV.' It combines the spaciousness of an SUV, the load capacity of a pickup, and the economy of an electric vehicle, with a driving range of 400 km, powerful four-wheel drive, and various customization packages to accommodate both leisure and daily use.

BYD will participate in the test drive event with the compact SUV 'ATTO 3,' which received the highest safety rating from Euro NCAP. It features a maximum driving range of 321 km, a rotating large display, and sporty interior design, built on BYD's e-Platform 3.0, ensuring both stability and efficiency.

Cadillac showcases the electric SUV 'LYRIQ,' representing the essence of luxury electric vehicles. Equipped with a 102 kWh battery, it can travel 465 km, offering impressive luxury features such as automatic lighting choreography and a 33-inch curved display.

Jeep provides the opportunity to test drive its first electric SUV, 'Avenger.' It combines all-terrain driving performance, a boxy design with the seven-slot grille, and practicality as a city electric vehicle.

Volvo offers the chance to test drive its new electric SUV 'EX30,' featuring interiors made from recycled materials, a maximum driving range of 475 km, and a Google-based infotainment system, allowing users to experience both practicality and premium quality.

An official from the EV Trend Korea organizing committee noted, 'This test drive event will be a great opportunity for consumers to experience each brand's electric vehicles directly and compare them to find the right car for themselves.' They added, 'In addition to the test drive event, the EV Trend Korea 2025 will feature various auxiliary events to experience the current and future of the electric vehicle industry all in one place.'

The test drive event will take place over a 30-minute route of approximately 3 km, starting from the South Gate Fire Road of COEX, passing Samsung Station, POSCO intersection, Samsung Central Station, and Bongeunsa Station, before returning to COEX. Anyone can participate through pre-registration via the website or on-site registration, with a total of 25 sessions planned for each vehicle by brand. There is no limit on the number of participants per person, allowing all vehicle types to be experienced through pre-registration.

Hosted by the Ministry of Environment and co-organized by COEX, the Korea Battery Industry Association (KIBA), and the Korea Automobile Environmental Association, the EV Trend Korea will be held for three days from June 3 to 5 at COEX in Seoul. This year, a total of 95 companies will participate with 451 booths.
