LOTTE Global Logistics announced on the 30th that it has opened a new store for the traveler convenience solution 'Luggage Less' in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
'Luggage Less' is a solution launched by LOTTE Global Logistics last year, aimed at allowing customers to complete airline check-in and baggage drop-off at urban locations.
The new store opened the day after signing a business agreement with Korea Urban Airport Asset Management. The agreement ceremony was attended by Kang Byeong-gu, representative of LOTTE Global Logistics, and Kim Go-hyun, representative of Korea Urban Asset Management.
The new 'Luggage Less' store opened on the second floor of the Korea Urban Airport Terminal near Samseong Station. The store offers an easy drop service that transports customers' luggage to the destination airport and allows for pre-flight check-in.
LOTTE Global Logistics plans to introduce a fast-track benefit that allows customers who have completed check-in via the easy drop service to use a dedicated departure lane without going through the departure line.
In addition, the 'Luggage Less' store offers airport luggage delivery, domestic and international parcel services, and valuables storage services. There are four stores, including locations in Samseong, Hongdae in Seoul, Incheon Inspire Resort, PARADISE City Hotel, and Myeongdong.
A representative from LOTTE Global Logistics noted, 'We will continuously expand the innovative brand Luggage Less, which alleviates travelers' baggage management concerns, to present a new standard for travel and provide customers with a more convenient experience.'
