Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) showcased the navy's future combat system development capabilities at the International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX), which opened on the 28th.

KAI presented a variety of helicopters, including a composite fleet of manned and unmanned aircraft, as well as landing assault helicopters, mine countermeasure helicopters, and high-speed medium transport helicopters at this MADEX.

KAI signed a business agreement with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and LIG Nex1 to collaborate on the development of the "multi-purpose unmanned combat vessel," which is a core asset of the manned and unmanned integrated combat system.

KAI will also engage in defense export marketing targeting foreign naval delegations visiting South Korea during this event.
