IDPP is a smart power plant that digitizes operational and maintenance data. Additionally, KEPCO will showcase the Substation Equipment Diagnostic & Analysis System (SEDA), a technology that comprehensively analyzes online sensor data installed on power facilities and offline inspection, diagnosis data to determine the presence of abnormalities in real-time and to proactively prevent failures. Besides, the next-generation distribution management system, Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), which monitors and controls distribution systems to maintain the safety of workers and equipment while optimizing the distributed generation-linked distribution network, will also be presented.
KEPCO's participation in CES 2026 was finalized after going through the approval process by the Consumer Technology Association, the organizer of CES, in March. A KEPCO official noted, 'We plan to operate a solo exhibition in the main venue of CES, making us the first among global utility corporations. The energy solution technologies presented by KEPCO align with the CES philosophy of 'changing lives through technology' and are an acknowledgment of KEPCO's technological excellence and innovation.'
President Kim Dong-cheol said, 'KEPCO's participation in CES 2026 is an opportunity to showcase KEPCO's innovative technologies to the world as a global energy platform corporation and will serve as a turning point to further strengthen our competitiveness in the new energy industry market.'
