Hyundai Rotem announced on the 21st that it will participate in the 2025 International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX) to be held at BEXCO in Busan from the 28th to the 31st of this month. MADEX is the largest maritime defense industry exhibition in Korea, held every two years, with over 150 companies participating this year. This will be Hyundai Rotem's first participation.

Hyundai Rotem will promote technologies and products capable of responding to amphibious operations through this exhibition. The multipurpose unmanned vehicle "HR-SHERPA," a representative product of the unmanned complex system, will be showcased. The HR-SHERPA is an electrified unmanned platform developed independently by Hyundai Rotem, capable of operating various equipment depending on the mission.

In addition to the export model of the K2 tank, the K2EX (K2 EXport), they plan to unveil a next-generation tank currently under development, demonstrating their capabilities in the tank institutional sector. They will also showcase wheeled command vehicles and wheeled medical evacuation vehicles that enhance the mobility of wheeled armored vehicles for field command and medical purposes.

A Hyundai Rotem official noted, "We will strengthen product competitiveness that can be operated in various environments, including amphibious operations, based on our ground weapons system capabilities to target the global market."
