LIG Nex1 announced that it showcased advanced guided weapon systems at the Malaysia Langkawi Island, where the largest maritime and aerospace defense exhibition in Southeast Asia, 'LIMA 2025 (Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025)' opened on the 20th.
LIG Nex1 displayed three types of guided weapons: the medium-range, medium-altitude surface-to-air missile 'Cheongung II', the ship-based air defense guided weapon 'Haegung', and the portable short-range air defense missile 'Shingung'. The patrol vessel 'HDP-1500 Neo' and the landing ship 'HDL-10000' from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries were also showcased.
LIG Nex1 is expected to explain the integration operation capabilities of guided weapon systems and platforms, as well as the connection to real combat systems, to various government and military officials at the event.
