President Cho and other key executives of Hanjin Logistics visited local affiliates and logistics partner companies in Seattle, Los Angeles (LA), Dallas, Atlanta, and Guadalajara, Mexico, over a 10-day period at the end of April.

They visited the newly opened second fulfillment center (comprehensive logistics center) in LA and the recently expanded airport cargo terminal at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to check on operational status and future business strategies.

To strengthen cooperation with local clients, they visited major clients in LA, Atlanta, and Dallas to listen to opinions on diversifying the North American export supply chain and to identify challenges in logistics operations and business needs.

In Guadalajara, where Hanjin Logistics' Mexican subsidiary is located, they discussed cooperation plans with key local logistics partners and also established a new strategy for entering the South American logistics market centered around Mexico.

Hanjin Logistics plans to accommodate the diverse needs of import and export corporations based on logistics bases throughout the Americas within this year to respond to the increase in exports of Korean goods and the demand for diversifying supply chains in the North American market. They intend to enhance specialized logistics services by region.

A representative of Hanjin Logistics noted, “As demand for exports to North America rises and recent movements to restructure supply chains increase, inquiries about Hanjin's logistics infrastructure and network in the Americas have been on the rise,” and added, “We will continue to provide customized logistics services that meet customer needs and maintain strategic logistics operations through connectivity between regional bases.”
