On the same day, GGM released an analysis of the 'impact of the Kumho Tire fire' and noted, "There are sufficient inventory levels and various supply chains secured, so there are no significant issues with the tire supply." GGM also explained, "Currently, the tire inventory amounts to 7,000 units, including 4,000 dedicated electric vehicle tires."

In addition, GGM added, "Products made by Kumho Tire are being supplied normally from the Gokseong plant, not from the Gwangju plant."

A major fire occurred at the Kumho Tire Gwangju plant around 7:11 a.m. the previous day, leading to a complete halt in production until today. Observations suggest that it may take several months to restore the damaged facilities and resume production.
