Scania Korea Group, the Korean subsidiary of the commercial vehicle brand Scania, announced that it held a ceremony to mark the delivery of the first unit of its top-tier tractor model, '770 S.'
The newly delivered '770 S' is a limited edition model launched in Korea to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Scania Korea and was first delivered to a customer at the Gyeongnam Sacheon shipping center on the 13th.
The owners of the first unit are Choi Sam-hwa, Kim Young-il, and Hwang Jung-min, who plan to use the '770 S' for various logistics transport utilizing lowbeds and containers. In particular, Choi Sam-hwa and Kim Young-il are known to have previously operated Scania trucks.
Kim Cho-won, sales executive at Scania Korea, noted, "Thanks to the continuous requests from customers for a 770-horsepower model, we are pleased to introduce this in Korea to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Scania Korea," adding, "We will continue to focus on developing optimized customized vehicles that meet customer needs and position ourselves as a true business partner that contributes to enhancing customer revenue."
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Scania Korea is conducting a roadshow that will tour major locations across the country from May 12 to 28, lasting a total of 13 days.
