Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 8th that it will kick off the 'Hyundai N Festival' 2025 season with the first round of races to be held at Yongin Everland Speedway on the 17th and 18th.

The Hyundai N Festival is the largest domestic one-make racing event, succeeding the 'Hyundai Click Speed Festival' held from 2003 to 2010 and the 'Korea Speed Festival' held from 2011 to 2018. One-make racing refers to a racing format where drivers compete only with the same type of vehicle based on their skills.

This season will feature three categories of races: the 'Gran Turismo eN1 Class' featuring the Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup Car (Cup Car, racing vehicle), the 'Kumho N1 Class' featuring the Avante N1 Cup Car, and the 'Nexen N2 Class' featuring the Avante N2 Cup Car.

This year, starting from the first round's opening match, a total of six rounds will be held: the second round in June at Yeongam Korea International Circuit, the third round in September at Inje Speedium, the fourth round in October at Inje Speedium, and the fifth and final rounds in November at Yongin Speedway.

Among them, the third round will be jointly held with TCR Asia, and the fourth round will be jointly held with TCR World Tour and TCR Asia. TCR (Touring Car Racing) is a motorsport format where automobile manufacturers produce racing vehicles and sell them to various racing teams. Hyundai Motor Company achieved overall wins twice in the institutional sector and five times in the driver sector by selling and supporting racing vehicles for teams worldwide since 2018.

In the final round, the plan is to invite champions from the U.S. SRO TC (Touring Car) America Hyundai N Trophy Cup and the China Hyundai N Cup to engage in international exchanges with domestic drivers. Events will also be held on-site at each round, including a racing simulation competition and N Taxi, where participants can experience the track in vehicles driven by professional drivers.
