The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) noted on the 6th that it is permanently recruiting companies to participate in the ’2025 K-Startup Center (KSC) project' to support promising startups in their global expansion.

This project is a program that systematically supports domestic startups to enter global innovation cities with excellent startup ecosystems, settle into local markets, and expand their businesses.

Startups selected through this recruitment will be able to utilize K-Startup Centers located in major global cities such as Singapore, Tokyo, Seattle, Paris, and Hanoi.

They will receive various customized programs for business commercialization and investment attraction, including provision of local office space, legal consulting necessary for establishing corporations and settling locally, expert mentoring, and market suitability verification.

The support period is for up to 3 years, including an additional 2 years after an initial 1 year from the date of move-in, depending on evaluations of overseas expansion achievements.

Eligible startups are those with a track record of attracting domestic or foreign investment or export performance to the relevant country or neighboring countries within the past three years.

Park Jang-hyuk, global growth director of KOSME, said, “We will drive the sustainable growth of domestic startups in overseas markets through tailored local support programs.”
