Kia announced on the 2nd that it will launch a new trim, Best Selection, for its compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Niro hybrid (HEV).
According to Kia, the Best Selection trim features enhanced safety specifications and premium design elements compared to the existing trims. It is equipped with forward collision-avoidance assistance, smart cruise control, and blind-spot collision-avoidance assistance. Additionally, projection LED headlamps and LED reversing lights have been applied.
A Kia official noted, "The Best Selection will provide customers with more diverse and attractive options due to the addition of various safety specifications and design elements."
In line with the new trim launch, Kia has also added convenience features to the existing trims. Starting from the entry-level trim Trendy, it includes steering wheel vibration warning that alerts of dangerous situations and a newly designed sleek electronic rearview mirror, enhancing its competitiveness.
The top-level trim Signature now includes new double-glazed soundproof glass in the second row.
All trims of the electric vehicle (BEV) models have been equipped with steering wheel vibration warnings, and the Vehicle to Load (V2L) function for external power supply has been applied.
The sales prices for the 2025 Niro hybrid are as follows: Trendy 27,820,000 won, Prestige 30,980,000 won, Best Selection 32,060,000 won, Signature 34,970,000 won.
