Hyundai Motor is conducting a family month promotion that offers discounts of up to 6 million won depending on the car model. This can be interpreted as a signal to strengthen its domestic market.

The special promotion starting on the 2nd is named 'H-Super Save.' The main point is to provide exceptional purchase benefits throughout the month of May.

Hyundai Motor offers discounts from 1 million won to a maximum of 6 million won for customers who receive deliveries in May, by adding basic vehicle discounts and promotional discounts for eight major popular models. The target models and maximum discount amounts are 6 million won for the Ioniq 6, 5 million won for the Ioniq 5, 4 million won for the Kona Electric, and 2 million won for the Sonata, Grandeur, Tucson, and Santa Fe, with 1 million won for the Kona. In the case of electric vehicles, considering the basic discounts, promotional discounts, government subsidies, manufacturer discount proportional subsidies, and average local government subsidies, the actual purchase price of the Ioniq 6 2WD standard 18-inch model is lowered from 38.1 million won to about 31.24 million won, the Ioniq 5 2WD long range 19-inch model from 40.91 million won to about 35.31 million won, and the Kona Electric 2WD standard 17-inch model from 33.88 million won to about 28.79 million won. For example, the Ioniq 6 2WD standard 18-inch model previously had a government subsidy of 5.26 million won, a manufacturer discount proportional subsidy of 230,000 won, and an average local government subsidy of about 3.36 million won, resulting in a price of 38.1 million won.

However, if purchased through this promotion, the actual purchase price is lowered to about 31.24 million won by applying a basic discount of 3 million won, a promotional discount of 3 million won, a government subsidy of 5.26 million won, a manufacturer discount proportional subsidy of 1.09 million won, and an average local government subsidy of about 3.36 million won.

The Ioniq 5 2WD long range 19-inch model has a basic discount of 2 million won, a promotional discount of 3 million won, a government subsidy of 5.77 million won, a manufacturer discount proportional subsidy of 840,000 won, and an average local government subsidy of about 3.68 million won, bringing the actual purchase price down from 40.91 million won to about 35.31 million won.

The Kona Electric 2WD standard 17-inch model has a basic discount of 3 million won, a promotional discount of 1 million won, a government subsidy of 4.47 million won, a manufacturer discount proportional subsidy of 1.31 million won, and an average local government subsidy of about 2.86 million won, lowering the actual purchase price from 33.88 million won to about 28.79 million won.

For internal combustion engine models, in the first half of the year, the Sonata gasoline turbo 1.6 exclusive model is lowered from 32.18 million won to about 30.18 million won based on a special consumption tax of 3.5%, the Grandeur gasoline 2.5 exclusive model from 41.93 million won to about 39.93 million won, the Tucson gasoline turbo 1.6 modern model from 27.29 million won to about 25.29 million won, the Santa Fe 5-seater prestige plus model from 39.44 million won to about 37.44 million won, and the Kona gasoline turbo 1.6 H-Pick model from 25.59 million won to about 24.59 million won.

Hyundai Motor is also conducting an event that provides various prizes to customers who purchase vehicles through the promotion. By May 30, among customers who receive deliveries through the promotion, seven will receive a 1 million won national tourism gift certificate and 70 will receive a premium car wash kit from Gordon Miller.

Throughout the month of May, an event will be held for customers visiting Hyundai Motor showrooms to draw various prizes through QR codes available in the showroom.
