Donald Trump's eldest son, Trump Jr., visited South Korea on the 29th.

As the media focused on the visit amid the impact of President Trump's tariff war reaching South Korea, Trump Jr. even conducted a diversionary tactic to evade reporters.

Trump Jr. entered the country around 6:20 p.m. through the Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center in Gangseo District. Originally scheduled to arrive at 4:45 p.m., his arrival was delayed by nearly two hours.

The airport authorities installed a barrier to maintain order, and plainclothes police and security personnel controlled access to outsiders. Trump Jr.'s team also parked a Rolls-Royce at the main entrance for transportation.

Reporters from various media outlets flocked to the airport to cover Trump Jr., but they could not see him. This was because Trump Jr. evaded the reporters upon arrival.

While reporters were gathered at the main entrance, Trump Jr. reportedly used a separate entrance on the right side of the building to take a prepared Mercedes vehicle. The Rolls-Royce was a diversion.

After leaving the airport, Trump Jr. is expected to have dinner with Chung Yong-jin, the chairman of Shinsegae Group, and spend the night at a hotel in Gangnam District, Seoul. The police deployed around 60 personnel from a mobile unit near the hotel where Trump Jr. will be staying. It is reported that Chairman Chung will accompany Trump Jr. throughout his visit.

In the business community, it is predicted that Trump Jr. will meet with the heads of major domestic conglomerates during his visit. Among those mentioned are ▲Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung Electronics ▲Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group ▲Chung Eui-sun, chairman of Hyundai Motor Group ▲Koo Kwang-mo, chairman of LG Group ▲Shin Dong-bin, chairman of Lotte Group ▲Lee Hae-jin, founder of Naver.
