Whenever there is an exceptionally quiet place, most of the time, Harman Kardon accompanies. This is also true for the recently completed media test drive event for 'The Kia EV4.' The NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) responsiveness of the Kia EV4 experienced during the media test drive was top-notch. It goes beyond just being an 'engine noise-free' electric vehicle. It was clearly an element that enhanced the sophistication of the car.
In such 'The Kia EV4,' Harman Kardon was reliably present.
Harman International Korea reminded on the 29th, "The innovative Harman Kardon premium car audio sound system technology adopted in the 'The Kia EV4' (The Kia EV4, hereinafter EV4) model provides a dynamic and unique car audio experience that is fatigue-free even after long listening sessions."
Through the collaboration of sound development engineers from Kia and Harman, the newly adopted Harman Kardon premium car audio sound system in the EV4 features a configuration of eight speakers and an external amplifier. As a result, a powerful and refined acoustic environment has been established. Harman Kardon's premium listening experience has amplified the driving pleasure offered by the attractive EV4.
Two tweeters and a woofer are equipped on both sides of the front seats, forming a 2-way speaker system, while the mid-tweeter characteristics speaker in the center of the dashboard serves as the center speaker, providing a stable stage (sound field). Full-range speakers mounted in the left and right rear doors reproduce mid-high frequencies without any deficiency, maximizing spatial perception. Located at the rear of the vehicle, the double voice coil type subwoofer enhances deep bass while providing a solid and punchy low end. Thus, the eight speakers penetrate every corner of the car.
The speaker grill featuring Harman Kardon's iconic 60-degree grill pattern design and the sound system adorned with the Harman Kardon logo blend seamlessly into the EV4's interior. The iconic 60-degree grill pattern originated from the precise angle achieved when drawing diagonals from the Harman Kardon logo, completing a unique pattern through strict repetition. The 60-degree angle adds acceleration to the grill, giving it a more dynamic feel.
