Valued at 834 billion won, this project aims to develop a long-range artillery interception system to protect national and military critical facilities in the metropolitan area from a significant threat posed by North Korea's long-range artillery. The system development is planned to be conducted under the supervision of the Defense Agency until 2028.

A representative from LIG Nex1 noted, "We successfully concluded the exploratory development project over the past two years," and added, "Winning this project will serve as an opportunity to strengthen our competitiveness in the low-altitude air defense market, ultimately leading to mass production."
