LIG Nex1 noted that it participated in the 'Peru International Defense Exhibition (SITDEF 2025)' held at the Army Headquarters in Lima, Peru from 24th to 27th and introduced comprehensive solutions for maritime security.

LIG Nex1 showcased radar and defensive weapon systems including multifunction radar (MFR), electronic warfare and combat systems, and the close-in weapon system (CIWS-II) for combat ships over 3,000 tons in an exhibition hall jointly arranged with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries. It also introduced guided missile systems such as Haegung and Bigung, submarine combat systems, and underwater strike systems like Hong Shark and Beom Shark.

LIG Nex1 also participated in the export submarine promotion seminar hosted by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, where it introduced key systems and solutions to be installed in submarines.

The 10th SITDEF 2025 is the largest defense exhibition in Latin America, held every two years. This year, over 250 companies and organizations from about 40 countries, including domestic defense companies LIG Nex1, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Rotem, and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), participated.
