The aircraft precision parts manufacturer ASTK noted that it is expecting a rebound in performance due to the recovery of the global aviation industry.
According to ASTK on the 28th, the global aircraft manufacturer "Boeing" is pushing to expand the production of the 737 MAX, which is expected to have a positive impact on aircraft parts suppliers. ASTK has been supplying key rear fuselage parts to Boeing since 2013, and with Boeing expanding outsourcing to improve revenue and reduce its own capacity, expectations for additional orders are rising.
Regarding the repercussions of the tariff policy implemented by U.S. President Donald Trump, ASTK predicted, based on foreign media analysis, that there would be little change in Boeing aircraft orders from global airlines. It is forecasted that aircraft introduction plans will be maintained even if additional expenses arise. In fact, according to The Guardian, Boeing plans to increase its production of the 737 MAX from about 30 units per month at the beginning of the year to 38 units per month.
An ASTK official explained, "We are in the process of renegotiating the delivery prices in line with the expansion of new orders." Regarding the recent rise in stock prices, it is viewed as reflecting market confidence that Boeing will achieve both production expansion and revenue maintenance despite expense burdens caused by tariffs.
Meanwhile, ASTK has recently obtained "Super Tier 1" status, which signifies a top-level partner, from Brazilian aircraft manufacturer "Embraer," which is seeking to enter the Korean market. Additionally, ASTK is pursuing business diversification, including expanding its aircraft modification (P2F·Passenger to Freighter) operations as a next growth engine.
