The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups announced that it held the 'Jump-up program launch ceremony' at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on the 23rd.

The 'Jump-up program' selects 100 promising small and medium enterprises to support their entry into new businesses and markets for three years, starting this year.

The event began with an opening video presenting the background of the 'Jump-up program,' the process for selecting corporations, future support plans, and a vision for the future. Following that, Minister Oh Youngju presented plaques symbolizing the selected corporations to five representative companies.

Next, eight policy organizations, including KOSME, the implementing organization of the 'Jump-up program,' and six private operating organizations, including The Federation of Korean Industries, signed a memorandum of understanding.

The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups also revealed the brand identity (BI) that expresses the purpose and vision of the 'Jump-up program.'

Minister Oh Youngju said, “We will support the Jump-up program, which is just starting, to firmly establish itself as a solid foundation for building a growth ladder for corporations through various policy measures.”
