Global leaders such as Gary Rose, the representative of Candu Energy from Canada, Mikal Bøe, the representative of Core Power from the United States, and Jeffrey Miller, the Vice President of TerraPower, will also participate as speakers.

The theme of this year's conference is 'Resilience and Versatile Contributions of Nuclear Energy.' It addresses the role of nuclear power in overcoming the climate crisis, achieving carbon neutrality, and dealing with the rapidly increasing demand for electricity amid developments in artificial intelligence.

Each session will feature in-depth discussions on various current issues and the latest technological trends, including continuous operation, carbon neutrality, artificial intelligence, energy security, small modular reactors (SMRs), and radioactive waste.

Hwang Ju-ho, the chairman of the Korea Atomic Industrial Forum, noted, 'The Korean Nuclear Annual Conference has been ongoing for 40 years, driving the development of the domestic nuclear industry. I hope that the annual conference will continue to serve as a global platform for sharing information on the development of the nuclear industry worldwide, as well as exchanging the latest technologies and innovative ideas.'

In addition, the '2025 International Nuclear Industry Exhibition' will also be held during the conference. Corporations including Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), KEPCO KPS, Doosan Enerbility, and Westinghouse will participate to promote their technologies and products. A program for overseas buyers has also been prepared to help domestic corporations open up overseas markets.
