Honda Korea (CEO Lee Ji-hong) announced on the 21st that it has selected world-renowned magician Choi Hyun-woo as the ambassador for its standard minivan "New Odyssey" and will support the vehicle. Magician Choi Hyun-woo will participate in various promotional marketing activities to spread the appeal of the Honda brand and New Odyssey.
Magician Choi Hyun-woo is a prominent figure who has led the popularization and modernization of magic in South Korea, showcasing new magic trends through various TV programs and nationwide tour performances since the early 2000s. He is a representative magician of Korea, having participated as the youngest judge in the prestigious FISM World Championship and is recognized as a global magician after winning the "2024 FFFF Magician of the Year" award.
Honda Korea cited "standard" as the background and keyword for selecting magician Choi Hyun-woo as the ambassador. They evaluated that the New Odyssey has become the standard for minivans in terms of space, convenience, performance, and safety, aligning well with Choi Hyun-woo, who is a representative magician and a benchmark in the magic community.
Magician Choi Hyun-woo noted, "Having conducted numerous magic performances across the country, I prioritize a safe and reliable vehicle above all, as well as a spacious and comfortable car that can carry various magic props and allows magicians to travel comfortably."
