Gu Ja-du, the fourth son of LG Group founder Koo In-hwoi, passed away on 15th. He was 93 years old.

LB Group has six affiliates, including LB Investment, LB Asset Management, and LB Semicon. The main affiliate, LB Investment, was established in 1996 as LG Venture Investment and separated from LG Group in 2000, changing its name to LB Investment in 2008.

Chairman Koo entrusted management rights to his eldest son, Koo Bon-cheon, the vice chairman of LB Investment, in 2018 and stepped down from the front line.

The funeral is at Seoul Asan Medical Center, with the burial scheduled for 11 a.m. on the 17th.
