B2B autonomous driving corporation Seoul Robotics (CEO Lee Han-bin) announced on the 15th that it has obtained an A grade and a BBB grade from two technical evaluation agencies designated by the Korea Exchange, fulfilling the requirements for a technology-specialty listing.
The technology-specialty listing system grants eligibility to apply for preliminary listing review when corporations with excellent technological capabilities secure certain grades (A grade and BBB grade or higher) through evaluations by technology evaluation agencies.
This year, Seoul Robotics, aiming to be listed as the 'first domestic autonomous driving corporation' on the KOSDAQ market, plans to submit a preliminary review application with its underwriter, Samsung Securities, based on the results of this technical evaluation.
Seoul Robotics aims to proactively target next-generation fields such as fully autonomous driving (levels 4 to 5) technology and various autonomous robot systems by actively utilizing the public offering funds secured through the listing for attracting top talent both domestically and internationally as well as investing in long-term research and development. Furthermore, with its credibility as a KOSDAQ listed company, it plans to accelerate contract expansions with global automobile manufacturers and logistics companies.
Recently, numerous global automobile manufacturers are advancing commercialization procedures to introduce Seoul Robotics' B2B autonomous driving solution 'level 5 control tower,' developed with proprietary technology. The level 5 control tower is evaluated as a solution that allows vehicles to operate without a driver or safety manager even in inclement weather, in addition to simultaneously conducting clustered autonomous driving of multiple vehicles.
Lee Han-bin, CEO of Seoul Robotics, noted, “Amidst the heightened evaluation criteria for technological and market potential, the A and BBB grades received by Seoul Robotics are the results of a high appraisal of our technology and an excellent assessment of our business development potential. We will do our best to contribute to domestic autonomous driving technology and market through our KOSDAQ listing in the second half of this year.”
