Finally, the ordered vehicles of the BYD ATTO 3 have begun to meet their owners. On April 2nd, the certification for government subsidies was completed, and official shipments started on the 14th.
The BYD ATTO 3 is the first domestic passenger model supplied by BYD Korea. The ATTO 3, a compact electric SUV, has recorded global sales of over 1 million units within three years of its release.
The ATTO 3 showcases safety, space utilization, and stable driving performance, built on BYD's integrated Blade Battery technology and the electric vehicle-specific e-Platform 3.0.
It also offers a variety of convenience features as standard, including a 3D surround view monitor, panoramic sunroof, V2L, a 12.8-inch rotating display, and intelligent cruise control. Within a week of its local launch, pre-orders surpassed 1,000 units.
The BYD ATTO 3 has confirmed national and local subsidies following the completion of the electric vehicle subsidy evaluation by the Ministry of Environment.
The suggested retail prices are ▲ 31.5 million won for the BYD ATTO 3 and ▲ 33.3 million won for the BYD ATTO 3 Plus. With the application of electric vehicle subsidies, some local governments allow purchases at the high 20 million won range.
BYD Korea has completed preparations for after-sales service (AS), which Korean consumers value the most, alongside the delivery of the BYD ATTO 3. BYD has opened official service centers for passenger vehicles in 12 major cities nationwide and plans to increase the number of service centers to over 25 by the end of the year, providing an optimal service environment for customers to use their vehicle with peace of mind after purchase.
Choi Jin-cheol, head of the passenger institutional sector at BYD Korea, noted, “I sincerely thank many customers who have waited, and BYD Korea will strive to become a brand that expands connections with domestic consumers and contributes to the growth of the domestic electric vehicle market.”
