"Peugeot is a genre." This is the slogan that Stellantis Korea is promoting. It focuses on Peugeot's artistic design.
To celebrate the launch of the '308 Smart Hybrid,' which opens a new genre of hybrids, Peugeot is conducting a collaboration project with the artist 'Hernc,' who reinterprets everyday moments through sensuous illustrations.
The partner for this project is the illustration artist Hernc, who expresses inspirations from nature, wine, dining, travel, and other aspects of daily life with vibrant colors and a free perspective. Hernc has been chosen as the perfect candidate to convey the new sensory lifestyle that Peugeot is aiming for.
As the start of the collaboration, to commemorate the launch of the 308 Smart Hybrid, Peugeot will hold a test drive event at nationwide Peugeot showrooms from April 11 to 30. All participants who test drive the 308 Smart Hybrid will receive Peugeot 308 Smart Hybrid goods (one goblet cup) reborn with Hernc's sensuous design.
In addition, artworks reinterpreted through Hernc's perspective, inspired by the refined yet brisk driving feel and design of the 308 Smart Hybrid, will be sequentially revealed.
The 308 Smart Hybrid is equipped with a 48V battery and is generally classified as a mild hybrid, but it can operate in pure electric mode, making it a new concept smart hybrid model with full-hybrid levels of efficiency and eco-friendliness. Through this art collaboration test drive event, Peugeot plans to more intuitively convey its differentiated 'smart hybrid' technology and sensibility and establish itself as a brand that proposes 'a new genre of everyday life,' which is the direction of this campaign.
Bang Sil, the representative of Stellantis Korea, noted, "Through this collaboration with Hernc, we expect customers to experience and resonate with the direction and value of the Peugeot brand. Starting with the 308 Smart Hybrid, we will continue to develop digital content and brand experience events to broaden touchpoints with customers and actively promote the unique charm of Peugeot."
