The vehicle-to-everything (V2X) semiconductor startup Ettifos announced on the 11th that it was listed as one of the world's major V2X semiconductor suppliers in a report published by the British market research firm IndustryARC.

IndustryARC provides specialized analytical reports in advanced technology fields such as semiconductors, autonomous driving, and communications to over 50 countries worldwide. It counts major global corporations such as Qualcomm, Intel, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW among its clients.

IndustryARC recently introduced Ettifos as one of the world's major suppliers alongside Qualcomm and Autotalks in its report titled "V2X Semiconductor Market Outlook (2025-2031)."

Ettifos participated in a testing trial involving vehicle-to-vehicle communication conducted last year under the leadership of Keysight Technologies, achieving successful interoperability with Autotalks' semiconductors.

The company explained that its proprietary "software-based communication modem" technology received attention as a key technology that enables the transition from LTE-based V2X technology to 5G-based technology without the need for separate equipment replacement.

Kim Ho-jun, CEO of Ettifos, said, "I will successfully establish the vehicle communication semiconductors scheduled to be released in the second half of this year and promote the technological capabilities of Korean startups to the global market."
