"Moon Shark" is a romance fantasy genre webtoon derived from the "Pinkfong Baby Shark" universe. It depicts the growth journey of Sid, the shark princess from an underwater kingdom, who falls in love at first sight with a K-pop idol on land and inadvertently debuts as a celebrity.
"Moon Shark" recorded 797,000 views on Kakao Page and ranked in the top 10 of the real-time rankings on Naver Series right after its release. In March, it was selected as the most recommended work during the "Ably Webtoon Week" held by the style commerce platform Ably, which has 9.8 million monthly users, and it topped the list of popular webtoons.
The Pinkfong Company plans to expand the universe of the webtoon through various online and offline content. On the 26th, it will release a new music video titled "Under the Spotlight," featuring audition stages of the characters.
