Lee visited the LOTTE Chemical Titan plant to encourage the hard work of employees and urged them to do their best in maintaining safe business sites and managing customers.

Lee noted, "The foundation of the chemical equipment industry is safety," and added, "We will quickly support whatever is necessary for safe plant operations. Let’s set goals for positive improvements and innovations, and bravely challenge ourselves to overcome crises."

Lee said, "LOTTE Chemical has expanded its operations worldwide, building excellent capabilities and traditions," and encouraged that "we should actively create synergies by utilizing our know-how in managing overseas business sites and our business capabilities."

The line project is an initiative to create an ultra-large petrochemical complex capable of producing 1 million tons of ethylene, 520,000 tons of propylene, and 250,000 tons of polypropylene annually. Currently, the completion phase is wrapping up.

The line project is evaluated as a venture that can expand LOTTE Chemical's global production competitiveness while also generating mutually strategic values such as economic growth and job creation in Indonesia.

Lee also held a meeting with the largest distributor of petrochemical products in Indonesia. Through the meeting, the two companies agreed to expand their ongoing collaboration on production and sales in Indonesia and strengthen joint responses for new product development.
