The domestic first service for business correction claims known as 'The Tax I Paid' has received an investment of 10.5 billion won.
The financial AI technology company Haeum noted on the 8th that it has raised 10.5 billion won in Series B funding from existing investors IBK Corporation Bank and Quad Ventures, as well as new investor Kiwoom. The total investment Haeum has received so far amounts to 21 billion won.
Founded in 2017, Haeum has been providing AI tax and financial automation services to help small business owners, self-employed individuals, and small corporations.
Haeum's representative services include 'The Tax I Paid', the first business correction claim service in the country, and 'Haeum Report 2.0', which supports tax processing for businesses.
With this investment, Haeum plans to focus on advancing its financial AI agent. While the focus was previously on convenience-oriented features such as expert consultations and free issuance of tax invoices, the goal after this investment is to enable the AI agent of Haeum to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, performing important tax and financial tasks for business owners.
Haeum CEO Ok Hyeong-seok said, "As the development of AI accelerates, the need for AI to replace business owners is becoming more pronounced," and added, "We will focus on enhancing our agentic AI capabilities that can go beyond execution to inference, aiming to seize leadership in AI technology through more aggressive investments starting with this Series B fundraising."
