The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups and Daegu Metropolitan City announced on the 8th that they will hold the '2025 One-Stop Corporate Support Expo' at EXCO, Daegu. The expo will be held over two days from the 8th to the 9th.
The '2025 One-Stop Corporate Support Expo' is a comprehensive expo aimed at listening to and consulting on the various difficulties faced by local small and medium enterprises in areas such as purchasing, exports, investment, and recruitment. More than 300 public institutions, large and medium-sized corporations, and venture capitalists will participate in this expo to support over 400 small and medium enterprises.
This year, a legal consultation booth will be set up to address legal issues related to technology protection and fair trade. Additionally, to assist export corporations in their overseas expansion, there will be programs to translate catalog products into English and to produce and support digital content. The Daegu Customs Office will also provide consultation to help Daegu export corporations struggling due to tariffs.
Investment presentation sessions will also be arranged to attract investment for startups. Over 30 institutions, including venture capitalists, accelerators, and angel investors, will participate to offer one-on-one investment consultations to about 60 startups.
To assist with corporate recruitment, the 'Daegu Promising Corporations Recruitment Hall' and the 'Specialized High School and Meister High School Technical Talent Recruitment Hall' will be operated. A recruitment talk show will provide an opportunity for current human resource managers from promising corporations and job seekers to communicate in real time.
Vice Minister Kim Seong-seob said, 'This expo is a great opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises to see the support they need at a glance and receive practical assistance.' He noted that the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups will continue to collaborate with local governments to ensure that local small and medium enterprises can grow as core players in our economy and will push forward with various policy supports for their growth and innovation.
