Is Lotte a mobility corporation? It is a natural question for those who first think of shopping, food and beverages, distribution, and construction.

However, the story changes when considering chemicals. There are numerous companies related to battery materials, electric vehicle chargers, and hydrogen energy. That is the reason Lotte is participating in the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show' taking place at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, until the 13th.

This is the first time Lotte is participating in the mobility show.

Lotte Chemical (LOTTE Chemical), LOTTE Energy Materials, LOTTE Innovate, and LOTTE Global Logistics participated in creating impressive exhibition halls focusing on themes such as eco-friendly energy and autonomous driving. The exhibition hall provides a comprehensive introduction to the mobility business Lotte is pursuing.

Lotte will organize the exhibition area under the theme 'L.Mobility Panorama,' allowing visitors to view the future mobility value chain based on eco-friendly energy envisioned by Lotte.

The Lotte exhibition hall is divided into three zones: a mobility technology zone displaying core battery materials and real-life mobility exterior and interior materials alongside EVSIS electric vehicle chargers; an autonomous driving zone where visitors can experience delivery robots and future mobility systems; and a hydrogen value chain zone introducing the process of generating electrical energy through hydrogen. Notably, the hydrogen value chain zone will illustrate all processes from production to charging and utilization of hydrogen through various presentations, including graphics, models, and videos.

LOTTE Innovate will offer experiences of riding an autonomous shuttle outside the exhibition hall. The riding experience will operate between KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 and Exhibition Hall 2, where the parking lot is located, allowing visitors to board freely without prior reservation during the event period. The autonomous vehicle operating this time is a B-type autonomous vehicle, which has no driver's seat and obtained permission for a speed of 40 km/h last October.

Lotte will prepare a 4-meter tall giant Bellygom photo zone for guests visiting the Seoul Mobility Show. After taking photos at the photo zone and uploading them to their social media account, guests will receive a Bellygom balloon on site.

A Lotte official noted, 'We are participating in the Seoul Mobility Show for the first time to provide a comprehensive introduction to the mobility business, which is one of the group’s new growth engines,' and added, 'We expect that businesses based on eco-friendly energy, including battery materials, electric vehicle charging, and hydrogen energy, will attract attention.'
