Global HR solution corporation Manpower Korea announced on the 7th that it has appointed Kim Ok-jin, former representative of Grand Hyatt Seoul, as the new CEO.
CEO Kim Ok-jin graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in business administration and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois in the United States. From 1994, she worked for 13 years at KPMG’s New York office as an accountant and consultant, building a global perspective, and served as the Chief Financial Officer at SC First Bank.
She is noted for leading management strategies and organizational restructuring while serving as the representative at corporations undergoing transformative change, including GE Power Systems Korea, Akiuon Capital, Sampyo, and Seoul MiraMau, the operator of Grand Hyatt Seoul.
Manpower Korea plans to strengthen its IT-based operational innovation and HR services that meet global standards, leveraging CEO Kim's global experience and cross-industry leadership.
CEO Kim noted, "The industry and the way work is done are changing rapidly, and the HR industry is at a critical point requiring fundamental transformation. We will enhance operational efficiency and sophistication through IT innovation and establish ourselves as a trusted HR partner providing customer-centric solutions."
