Lotus Cars Korea announced on the 6th that it will hold a special promotion to celebrate the '2025 Performance of the Year' award for the hyper SUV Eletre, hosted by the Automotive Writers Association of Korea (AWAK).
The Lotus Eletre, selected as the 2025 Performance of the Year car by the Automotive Writers Association of Korea, is evaluated as one of the most powerful SUVs currently existing, using a formidable electrified powertrain. In particular, the Eletre R boasts a dual motor system, producing a maximum output of 918 horsepower and maximum torque of 100.4 kg·m, and showcases powerful performance by reaching 100 km/h in just 2.95 seconds.
As the Eletre won the 'Performance of the Year' award, Lotus will extend the support period for acquisition and registration taxes that has been ongoing since February and will conduct special promotions adding additional benefits. Consequently, individuals who purchase the Eletre using Lotus Cars Korea's exclusive financial products can receive support of up to 10 million won for acquisition and registration taxes.
When purchasing the Emira, Lotus's last internal combustion engine midship sports car, an acquisition and registration tax support of up to 9 million won is provided.
Moreover, a 'low-interest program' has been established, enabling customers to purchase Lotus high-performance sports cars with ease. Utilizing this program, buyers can purchase the Emira and Eletre through installment or leasing at low interest rates of 1-2%.
In particular, taking advantage of this special promotion allows for purchasing the Emira at an unprecedented price. Among them, the 2024 model Emira 2L can be purchased at a price up to 15.2 million won cheaper than the 2025 model Emira 2L.
A representative from Lotus Cars Korea noted, "To repay the heated interest customers have shown in Lotus this year, including the selection of the hyper SUV Eletre as the most powerful car of the year, we have arranged this promotion." They added, "Above all, this promotion is the last opportunity to purchase the ‘Emira V6 AT’ at a reasonable price, and we expect a lot of interest from sports car enthusiasts."
