The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups announced that it will recruit institutions to participate in the '2025 K-Scouter' from the 24th to March 17.
K-Scouter will identify promising overseas startups wishing to enter Korea by utilizing a global network, support their settlement and initial acceleration in Korea, and promote the Korean startup ecosystem.
As part of the policy to activate inbound (domestic startups by foreign entrepreneurs), the K-Scouter project, which was introduced for the first time last year, is supporting the settlement of 22 overseas startups by assisting with the establishment of corporations throughout 2024.
This year, plans are in place to strengthen activities to attract excellent corporations, such as reverse transfer of corporations (transferring foreign headquarters to Korea), to enhance project performance and contribute to the globalization of the startup ecosystem.
Institutions wishing to participate can apply on the K-Startup website.
