Power equipment company LS ELECTRIC announced on the 11th that it will participate in the largest domestic smart power and energy exhibition, 'ELECS KOREA 2025' (Electric Energy Conference & Show), and 'Korea Smart Grid Expo 2025' in COEX, Samseong-dong, Seoul, from the 12th to the 14th, showcasing next-generation products. LS ELECTRIC will present its strategic solutions and global business strategies to lead the next-generation smart power business, consisting of five zones such as artificial intelligence (AI) data center solutions, carbon-zero energy, and smart factories.
LS ELECTRIC will fully deploy customized packages for data centers based on next-generation solutions, including superconducting fault current limiters, smart distribution boards, solid-state transformers (SST), solid-state circuit breakers (SSCB), and air conditioning systems. LS ELECTRIC's superconducting solution 'HypergridNX' will also be revealed, which ensures stable power supply to not only existing data centers but also hyperscale-level AI data centers. HypergridNX is a power supply system for Internet Data Centers (IDC) that combines LS ELECTRIC's superconducting cooling system with LS Cable & System's superconducting cables.
LS ELECTRIC is accelerating its expansion into the data center market, including major domestic telecommunications companies and global major big tech corporations, by supplying power equipment to data centers of U.S. IT companies.
Gu Ja-kyun, chairman of LS ELECTRIC, said, "As a result of leading the development of next-generation smart solutions and pioneering markets aimed at overseas markets, visible results are being generated in global business, centered on the United States," and noted, "We will definitely seize the initiative in the global power supercycle era by adding AI and digital technology to world-class products."
